[416] [Sakavādin:] "Past phenomena (dhammā) whose results have not ripened (avipakkavipākā) — do those exist?" [Paravādin:] "Yes." [Sakavādin:] "But have not past phenomena whose results have not ripened ceased?" [Paravādin:] "Yes." [Sakavādin:] "If past phenomena whose results have not ripened have ceased, then indeed it should not be said: 'Past phenomena whose results have not ripened have ceased, [and yet] those exist.'"
