[768] [Sakavādin:] "Has the eighth person (aṭṭhamaka puggala) abandoned the obsession of view (diṭṭhi-pariyuṭṭhāna)?" [Paravādin:] "Yes." [Sakavādin:] "Has the eighth person developed the path (magga) for the abandoning of the obsession of view?" [Paravādin:] "It should not be said thus. …" [Sakavādin:] "Has the eighth person abandoned the obsession of view?" [Paravādin:] "Yes." [Sakavādin:] "Has the eighth person developed the establishments of mindfulness (satipaṭṭhāna) … the right exertions (sammappadhāna) … developed the factors of awakening (bojjhaṅga) for the abandoning of the obsession of view?" [Paravādin:] "It should not be said thus. …"
