Abhidhammapiṭaka · Kathāvatthu · Vol. 37 · Section 819

[819] [Sakavādin:] Is there only one ear? [Paravādin:] Yes (āmantā). [Sakavādin:] But were not two ears spoken of by the Blessed One: the fleshly ear (maṃsasota) and the divine ear (dibbasota)? [Paravādin:] Yes. [Sakavādin:] If two ears were spoken of by the Blessed One — the fleshly ear and the divine ear — then indeed, good sir, it should not be said that "there is only one ear." Discussion of the Divine Ear (Dibbasotakathā). __________________ Discussion of the Knowledge of [Beings] Faring According to Their Kamma (Yathākammūpagatañāṇakathā)
