[84] P.: Should it not be said: "The very same person (puggala) transmigrates (sandhāvati) from this world to the other world, from the other world to this world"? S.: Yes. P.: But is not a person who is a Stream-Enterer (sotāpanna), having passed away from the human world (manussaloka) and been reborn in the heavenly world (devaloka), still a Stream-Enterer there also? S.: Yes. P.: If a person who is a Stream-Enterer, having passed away from the human world and been reborn in the heavenly world, is still a Stream-Enterer there also, then indeed, sir, it must be said: "The very same person transmigrates from this world to the other world, from the other world to this world."
