[862] S.: In the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception (nevasaññānāsaññāyatana), it should not be said that perception (saññā) exists or that it does not exist? P.: Yes. S.: Is not the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception a four-constituent existence (catuvokārabhava)? P.: Yes. S.: If the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception is a four-constituent existence, then indeed, good sir, you should not say: "In the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception, it should not be said that perception exists or that it does not exist."
