[68] Is feeling (vedanā) an aggregate (khandha)?
Yes.
Are the aggregates the feeling aggregate (vedanākkhandha)? [1]
The feeling aggregate is both an aggregate and the feeling aggregate; the remaining aggregates are aggregates, not the feeling aggregate.
[1] [Siam Raṭṭha edition footnote:] Where the question ought to be asked as "Are the aggregates form (khandhā rūpan'ti)?", since by the word "form (rūpa)" only the form aggregate (rūpakkhandha) is intended, therefore, disregarding the wording and asking by way of the meaning, he says, "Are the aggregates the form aggregate (khandhā rūpakkhandho'ti)?" — thus the Commentary (Aṭṭhakathā).
