[61] Now at that time Sakka, lord of the devas, having created for himself the form of a young brahmin (māṇavaka), walked in front of the Saṅgha of bhikkhus headed by the Buddha, singing these verses:
"The tamed one, together with the tamed, with the former matted-hair ascetics (purāṇajaṭilā); the fully released one, with the fully released — the Blessed One, golden-hued like an ingot of siṅgī gold, entered Rājagaha.
"The freed one, together with the freed, with the former matted-hair ascetics; the fully released one, with the fully released — the Blessed One, golden-hued like an ingot of siṅgī gold, entered Rājagaha.
"The one who has crossed over, together with those who have crossed over, with the former matted-hair ascetics; the fully released one, with the fully released — the Blessed One, golden-hued like an ingot of siṅgī gold, entered Rājagaha.
"The peaceful one, together with the peaceful, with the former matted-hair ascetics; the fully released one, with the fully released — the Blessed One, golden-hued like an ingot of siṅgī gold, entered Rājagaha.
"Dwelling in the ten abodes, possessing the ten powers, knowing the ten dhammas, and endowed with ten — he, surrounded by ten hundred, the Blessed One, entered Rājagaha."
