[1055] With not-association condition (nasampayuttapaccayā), with not-root condition (nahetupaccayā), with not-object condition (naārammaṇapaccayā): in the predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya), three … in the proximity condition (anantara-paccaya), seven; in the contiguity condition (samanantara-paccaya), seven; in the conascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya),* five; in the mutuality condition (aññamañña-paccaya), one; in the dependence condition (nissaya-paccaya), seven; in the decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya), nine; in the prenascence condition (purejāta-paccaya), three; in the postnascence condition (pacchājāta-paccaya), three; in the repetition condition (āsevana-paccaya), three; in the kamma condition (kamma-paccaya), three; in the result condition (vipāka-paccaya), one; in the nutriment condition (āhāra-paccaya), three; in the faculty condition (indriya-paccaya), three; in the jhāna condition (jhāna-paccaya), three; in the path condition (magga-paccaya), three; in the dissociation condition (vippayutta-paccaya), five; in the presence condition (atthi-paccaya), seven; in the absence condition (natthi-paccaya), seven; in the disappearance condition (vigata-paccaya), seven; in the non-disappearance condition (avigata-paccaya), seven. *Translator's note: The Siam Raṭṭha Pali here prints "purejāte pañca" ("in the prenascence condition, five"). Since purejāta recurs below in this same list with the count three, and since the fixed canonical order of the twenty-four conditions requires sahajāta (conascence) between samanantara and aññamañña, "purejāte" is evidently a misprint for "sahajāte." The Thai Royal Edition reads accordingly ("ในสหชาตปัจจัย … ๕"), and the translation follows that corrected reading.
