Conditioned by a phenomenon that is neither result nor productive of result (nevavipākanavipākadhammadhamma), a phenomenon that is neither result nor productive of result arises by kamma-result condition: conditioned by one primary element (mahābhūta), three primary elements arise; conditioned by two primary elements, two primary elements arise; conditioned by the primary elements, mind-originated materiality (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) and kamma-born materiality (kaṭattā-rūpa) that are derivative materiality (upādā-rūpa) arise.
