[14] Kamma condition (kamma-paccaya): Wholesome and unwholesome (kusalākusala) kamma is a condition, by way of kamma condition, for the resultant (vipāka) aggregates (khandhā) and for the kinds of materiality (rūpa) [arisen] through [kamma's] having been performed (kaṭattā); [it] is a condition, by way of kamma condition, for the phenomena (dhammā) associated with volition (cetanā) and for the kinds of materiality originating therefrom (taṃsamuṭṭhāna).
