[602] An unwholesome (akusala) phenomenon (dhamma) is a condition (paccaya) for an unwholesome phenomenon by way of association condition (sampayutta-paccaya). One unwholesome aggregate (khandha) is a condition for three aggregates by way of association condition; three aggregates are a condition for one aggregate by way of association condition; two aggregates are a condition for two aggregates by way of association condition.
