[2119] An internal phenomenon (ajjhatta-dhamma) is a condition (paccaya) for an external phenomenon (bahiddhā-dhamma) by way of object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya); is a condition by way of decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya); is a condition by way of prenascence condition (purejāta-paccaya); is a condition by way of nutriment condition (āhāra-paccaya).
