[2164] A phenomenon (dhamma) with an external object (bahiddhārammaṇa) is a condition for a phenomenon with an external object by kamma condition (kamma-paccaya): conascent (sahajāta), asynchronous (nānākhaṇika). Conascent: volition (cetanā) with an external object is a condition for the associated (sampayuttaka) aggregates (khandhā) by kamma condition. Asynchronous: volition with an external object is a condition for the resultant (vipāka) aggregates with an external object by kamma condition.
