[556] A phenomenon accompanied by rapture (pītisahagata dhamma) is a condition for a phenomenon accompanied by rapture by way of nutriment condition (āhāra-paccaya); it is a condition by way of faculty condition (indriya-paccaya); it is a condition by way of absorption condition (jhāna-paccaya); it is a condition by way of path condition (magga-paccaya); it is a condition by way of association condition (sampayutta-paccaya); it is a condition by way of presence condition (atthi-paccaya). The ten questions (pañhā) should be expanded in detail. It is a condition by way of absence condition (natthi-paccaya); it is a condition by way of disappearance condition (vigata-paccaya). Both absence (natthi) and disappearance (vigata) are similar to proximity (anantara). It is a condition by way of non-disappearance condition (avigata-paccaya).
