in the not-predominance condition (na-adhipati), nine;
in the not-proximity condition (na-anantara), five;
in the not-contiguity condition (na-samanantara), five;
in the not-mutuality condition (na-aññamañña), five;
in the not-decisive-support condition (na-upanissaya), five;
in the not-prenascence condition (na-purejāta), seven;
in the not-postnascence condition (na-pacchājāta), nine;
in the not-repetition condition (na-āsevana), nine;
in the not-kamma condition (na-kamma), three;
in the not-result condition (na-vipāka), nine;
in the not-nutriment condition (na-āhāra), one;
in the not-faculty condition (na-indriya), one;
in the not-jhāna condition (na-jhāna), one;
in the not-path condition (na-magga), one;
in the not-association condition (na-sampayutta), five;
in the not-dissociation condition (na-vippayutta), three;
in the not-absence condition (no-natthi), five;
in the not-disappearance condition (no-vigata), five.
Having understood [the method], one should count.
