[693] A phenomenon (dhamma) to be abandoned neither by seeing (dassana) nor by development (bhāvanā) is a condition for a phenomenon to be abandoned by development, by way of immediacy condition (anantara-paccaya). Adverting (āvajjanā) is a condition for the aggregates (khandhā) to be abandoned by development, by way of immediacy condition.
