[376] Conditioned by a phenomenon associated with taints (āsavasampayutta dhamma), a phenomenon associated with taints arises through object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya): three [cases], the same as the paṭicca-section (paṭiccavāra). Conditioned by a phenomenon dissociated from taints (āsavavippayutta dhamma), a phenomenon dissociated from taints arises through object condition: conditioned by one aggregate (khandha) dissociated from taints and the base (vatthu), three aggregates [arise]; [conditioned by] two aggregates … At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi), conditioned by the base, the aggregates [arise]; conditioned by the eye base (cakkhāyatana), eye-consciousness (cakkhuviññāṇa) [arises]; conditioned by the body base (kāyāyatana), body-consciousness (kāyaviññāṇa) [arises]; conditioned by the base, aggregates dissociated from taints [arise]; conditioned by the base, delusion (moha) accompanied by grief (domanassa), accompanied by doubt (vicikicchā), accompanied by restlessness (uddhacca) [arises]. Conditioned by a phenomenon dissociated from taints, a phenomenon associated with taints arises through object condition: conditioned by the base, aggregates associated with taints [arise]; conditioned by delusion accompanied by grief, accompanied by doubt, accompanied by restlessness, the associated aggregates [arise]. Conditioned by a phenomenon dissociated from taints, a phenomenon associated with taints and a phenomenon dissociated from taints arise through object condition: conditioned by the base, aggregates accompanied by grief, accompanied by doubt, accompanied by restlessness, and delusion [arise].
