[386] A clung-to phenomenon (upādinna dhamma) is a condition for a clung-to phenomenon by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya); it is a condition by connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya); it is a condition by decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya); it is a condition by prenascence condition (purejāta-paccaya); it is a condition by postnascence condition (pacchājāta-paccaya); it is a condition by nutriment condition (āhāra-paccaya); it is a condition by faculty condition (indriya-paccaya).
