[805] A phenomenon (dhamma) belonging to the formless sphere (arūpāvacara) is a condition for a phenomenon not belonging to the formless sphere by dissociation condition (vippayutta-paccaya): conascent (sahajāta), postnascent (pacchājāta). A phenomenon not belonging to the formless sphere is a condition for a phenomenon not belonging to the formless sphere by dissociation condition: conascent, prenascent (purejāta), postnascent. A phenomenon not belonging to the formless sphere is a condition for a phenomenon belonging to the formless sphere by dissociation condition: prenascent: the base (vatthu) is a condition for the formless-sphere aggregates (khandhā) by dissociation condition.
