[1012] Dependent on a wholesome phenomenon (dhamma) that is both a root (hetu) and associated with a root (hetu-sampayutta), there arises a wholesome phenomenon that is both a root and associated with a root, by root condition (hetu-paccaya). Dependent on a wholesome phenomenon that is both a root and associated with a root, there arises a wholesome phenomenon that is associated with a root but is not a root, by root condition.
