[1211] An indeterminate (abyākata) phenomenon (dhamma) that is dissociated from taints (āsava-vippayutta) yet subject to taints (sāsava) is a condition, by root condition (hetu-paccaya), for an indeterminate phenomenon that is dissociated from taints yet subject to taints.
An indeterminate phenomenon that is dissociated from taints and not subject to taints (anāsava) is a condition, by root condition, for an indeterminate phenomenon that is dissociated from taints and not subject to taints.
