[1387] With root condition (hetu-paccaya), three; with object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya), nine; with predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya), nine; with non-disappearance condition (avigata-paccaya), five.
Just as the positive (anuloma), the negative (paccanīya), the positive-negative (anuloma-paccanīya), and the negative-positive (paccanīya-anuloma) of the question section (pañhāvāra) have been enumerated in the wholesome triad (kusala-ttika), so should the enumeration be made here.
