[1497] Dependent on an unwholesome (akusala) phenomenon (dhamma) that is conjoined with and originated by mind (citta-saṃsaṭṭha-samuṭṭhāna), an unwholesome phenomenon that is conjoined with and originated by mind arises by root condition (hetu-paccaya). Three. Dependent on an unwholesome phenomenon that is not conjoined with and originated by mind (no-citta-saṃsaṭṭha-samuṭṭhāna), an unwholesome phenomenon that is conjoined with and originated by mind arises by root condition. Dependent on an unwholesome phenomenon that is conjoined with and originated by mind and on an unwholesome phenomenon that is not conjoined with and originated by mind, an unwholesome phenomenon that is conjoined with and originated by mind arises by root condition.
