[1694] Dependent on an unwholesome (akusala) phenomenon (dhamma) with sustained application (savicāra), an unwholesome phenomenon with sustained application arises by root condition (hetu-paccaya): three. Dependent on an unwholesome phenomenon without sustained application (avicāra), an unwholesome phenomenon with sustained application arises by root condition. Dependent on an unwholesome phenomenon with sustained application and an unwholesome phenomenon without sustained application, an unwholesome phenomenon with sustained application arises by root condition.
