[1746] In the root condition (hetu-paccaya), nine; in the object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya), four; in the non-disappearance condition (avigata-paccaya), nine.
It is just like the indeterminate (abyākata) [section] of the dyad of the sense sphere and the non-sense-sphere (kāmāvacara–nakāmāvacara-duka).
Only this many questions (pañhā) revolve below and above.
Both the conascence section (sahajāta-vāra) and the question section (pañhā-vāra) should be expanded in full everywhere.
