[46] With the not-root condition (na-hetu-paccaya), in the object [condition] (ārammaṇa): nine.
Just as the counting was done in the wholesome triad (kusalattika) for the positive (anuloma), the negative (paccanīya), the positive-negative (anuloma-paccanīya), and the negative-positive (paccanīya-anuloma) of the question chapter (pañhāvāra), so should it be counted.
