[722] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is a root (hetu) and has the path (magga) as root (maggahetuka), there arises a phenomenon that is a root and has the path as root, through root condition (hetu-paccaya): three. Dependent on a phenomenon that is not a root (nahetu) and has the path as root, there arises a phenomenon that is not a root and has the path as root, through root condition: three. Dependent on a phenomenon that is a root and has the path as root and a phenomenon that is not a root and has the path as root, there arises a phenomenon that is a root and has the path as root, through root condition: three.
