[745] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is not a root (na-hetu), having the path as predominance (maggādhipati), is a condition for a phenomenon that is a root (hetu), having the path as predominance, by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya); it is a condition by connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya); it is a condition by decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya).
