[766] With the not-root condition (na-hetu-paccaya), in the object [condition] (ārammaṇa): three.
As the positive (anuloma), the negative (paccanīya), the positive-negative (anuloma-paccanīya), and the negative-positive (paccanīya-anuloma) of the question chapter (pañhā-vāra) have been counted in the wholesome triad (kusala-ttika), so should the counting be done.
In this dyad-triad (duka-ttika) there is no dependence chapter (paṭicca-vāra), no conascence chapter (sahajāta-vāra), no condition chapter (paccaya-vāra), no support chapter (nissaya-vāra), no conjunction chapter (saṃsaṭṭha-vāra), and no association chapter (sampayutta-vāra), nor the past, nor the future.
The Root Dyad with the Past Triad (hetuduka-atītattika) is concluded.
