[958] An unwholesome (akusala) phenomenon (dhamma) associated with roots (hetusampayutta) is a condition (paccaya) for an unwholesome phenomenon associated with roots by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya); it is a condition by connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya); it is a condition by decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya).
