[140] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is not a defilement (no-kilesa), a phenomenon that is not a defilement arises by root condition (hetupaccayā). Dependent on a phenomenon that is not a defilement, a phenomenon that is not a not-defilement (na-no-kilesa) arises by root condition. Dependent on a phenomenon that is not a defilement, a phenomenon that is not a defilement and a phenomenon that is not a not-defilement arise by root condition.
