[1485] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is not unsurpassable (na-anuttara) and is not accompanied by conflict (na-saraṇa) is a condition (paccaya) for an unsurpassable (anuttara) phenomenon that is without conflict (araṇa) by decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya) … is a condition by prenascence condition (purejāta-paccaya). A phenomenon that is not unsurpassable and is not without conflict (na-araṇa) is a condition for an unsurpassable phenomenon that is without conflict by decisive-support condition.
