[580] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) subject to taints (sāsava) that is invisible and non-impinging (anidassana-appaṭigha), a phenomenon that is not subject to taints (na-sāsava) and is not visible and impinging (na-sanidassanasappaṭigha) arises by root condition (hetupaccayā). Dependent on a phenomenon subject to taints that is invisible and non-impinging, a phenomenon that is not subject to taints and is not invisible and impinging (na-anidassanasappaṭigha) arises by root condition. Dependent on a phenomenon subject to taints that is invisible and non-impinging, a phenomenon that is not subject to taints and is not visible and impinging and a phenomenon that is not subject to taints and is not invisible and impinging arise by root condition.
