[584] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) associated with taints (āsavasampayutta) that is invisible and non-impinging (anidassana-appaṭigha), a phenomenon not associated with taints (na-āsavasampayutta) that is not visible and impinging (na-sanidassanasappaṭigha) arises by root condition (hetupaccayā). Dependent on a phenomenon associated with taints that is invisible and non-impinging, a phenomenon not associated with taints that is not invisible and impinging (na-anidassanasappaṭigha) arises by root condition. … Dependent on a phenomenon associated with taints that is invisible and non-impinging, a phenomenon not associated with taints that is not visible and impinging and a phenomenon not associated with taints that is not invisible and impinging arise by root condition.
