[732] Dependent on a wholesome (kusala) phenomenon (dhamma) productive of results (vipākadhammadhamma), a not-wholesome (na-kusala) phenomenon that is not productive of results (na-vipākadhammadhamma) arises by root condition (hetupaccayā). Dependent on a wholesome phenomenon productive of results, a not-unwholesome (na-akusala) phenomenon that is not productive of results arises by root condition. Dependent on a wholesome phenomenon productive of results, a not-wholesome phenomenon that is not productive of results and a not-unwholesome phenomenon that is not productive of results arise by root condition: three. Dependent on an unwholesome (akusala) phenomenon productive of results, a not-unwholesome phenomenon that is not productive of results arises by root condition. Dependent on an unwholesome phenomenon productive of results, a not-wholesome phenomenon that is not productive of results arises by root condition. Dependent on an unwholesome phenomenon productive of results, a not-wholesome phenomenon that is not productive of results and a not-unwholesome phenomenon that is not productive of results arise by root condition.
