[245] For a third time the Blessed One said this to those bhikkhus: "Enough, bhikkhus—no quarreling, no strife, no contention, no dispute!" For a third time that bhikkhu who spoke contrary to the Dhamma (adhammavādī) said this to the Blessed One: "Venerable sir, let the Blessed One, the Lord of the Dhamma (dhammasāmī), wait; let the Blessed One, venerable sir, dwell unconcerned, devoted to a pleasant abiding in this very life. It is we who will be known by this quarreling, strife, contention, and dispute." Then the Blessed One, thinking, "These foolish men (moghapurisa) are quite overwhelmed; it is not easy to make them see reason," rose from his seat and departed.
