[9] Now at that time a certain bhikkhu had an affliction of corns on his feet (pādakhīlābādha). The bhikkhus, supporting that bhikkhu, carried him out to void excrement and to pass urine. The Blessed One, while walking on a tour of the lodgings, saw those bhikkhus supporting that bhikkhu and carrying him out to void excrement and to pass urine. Having seen them, he approached those bhikkhus, and having approached, he said to those bhikkhus: "Bhikkhus, what is this bhikkhu's affliction?" "Venerable sir, this venerable one has an affliction of corns on his feet; supporting him, we carry him out to void excrement and to pass urine."
