[501] Bhikkhus, here again a bhikkhu deserving rehabilitation (abbhāna) commits in the interim several saṅghādisesa offenses (āpatti), limited in number, some concealed and some unconcealed. That bhikkhu should be sent back to the beginning (mūlāya paṭikassanā), and he should be given a combined probation (samodhānaparivāsa), joining [the new offenses] with the former offense, in accordance with those of his offenses that were concealed.
