[130] Now at that time a mosquito-whisk (makasavījanī) had accrued to the Saṅgha. They informed the Blessed One of this matter. "Bhikkhus, I allow a mosquito-whisk."
A yak-tail whisk (cāmarivījanī) had accrued. They informed the Blessed One of this matter. "Bhikkhus, a yak-tail whisk is not to be kept; whoever should keep one commits an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa). Bhikkhus, I allow three kinds of fans: one made of bark-fiber, one made of usīra grass, and one made of peacock tail-feathers."
