[211] Now at that time a bed with crab-shaped legs (kuḷirapādaka mañca), one that had been discarded in a charnel ground (sosānika), had come into the possession of the Saṅgha. They reported this matter to the Blessed One. "Bhikkhus, I allow a bed with crab-shaped legs." A bench (pīṭha) with crab-shaped legs had come into their possession. They reported this matter to the Blessed One. "Bhikkhus, I allow a bench with crab-shaped legs."
