[273] Now at that time the group-of-six bhikkhus (chabbaggiyā bhikkhū) made sick bhikkhus get up. The sick ones said this: "Friends, we are not able to get up; we are sick." Saying, "We will raise the venerable ones up," they took hold of them, raised them up, and, once they were standing, let go of them. The sick ones fainted and fell down. … They reported this matter to the Blessed One. … "Bhikkhus, a sick bhikkhu is not to be made to get up; whoever should make one get up commits an offence of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa)."
