Vinaykathā

[296] Now at that time bhikkhus were giving the building work (navakamma) of an entire dwelling (vihāra). They reported this matter to the Blessed One. "Bhikkhus, building work should not be given in respect of entire dwellings. Whoever should give it commits an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa)."
