[453] Furthermore, bhikkhus, whatever streams (savantiyo) in the world flow into the great ocean, and whatever showers fall from the sky, yet neither a lessening nor a filling of the great ocean is thereby discerned.
Bhikkhus, that whatever streams in the world flow into the great ocean, and whatever showers fall from the sky, yet neither a lessening nor a filling of the great ocean is thereby discerned — this too, bhikkhus, is the fifth wonderful and marvelous quality in the great ocean, which, seeing again and again, the asuras delight in the great ocean.
