[1029] One hundred and seventy-six are not shared in common by both [Saṅghas];
listen to them as they are recounted.
There are four rules entailing defeat (pārājika),
sixteen entailing initial and subsequent meetings of the Saṅgha (saṅghādisesa),
there are two undetermined rules (aniyata),
twenty-four entailing forfeiture (nissaggiya),
and one hundred and eighteen minor rules (khuddaka) are declared,
twelve rules to be confessed (pāṭidesanīya) —
these one hundred and seventy-six are not shared in common by both.
