[1133] The relinquishment (paccuddhāra) is a condition for the preliminary work (pubbakaraṇa) by way of proximity condition (anantarapaccaya); it is a condition by way of contiguity condition (samanantarapaccaya); it is a condition by way of dependence condition (nissayapaccaya); it is a condition by way of decisive-support condition (upanissayapaccaya). The preliminary work is a condition for the relinquishment by way of prenascence condition (purejātapaccaya). The relinquishment is a condition for the preliminary work by way of postnascence condition (pacchājātapaccaya). Fifteen dhammas are a condition by way of conascence condition (sahajātapaccaya).
