[1136] The grounds (mātikā) and the constraints (palibodha) are a condition for the spreading (atthāra) by way of proximity condition (anantarapaccaya), a condition by way of contiguity condition (samanantarapaccaya), a condition by way of support condition (nissayapaccaya), and a condition by way of decisive-support condition (upanissayapaccaya). The spreading is a condition for the grounds and the constraints by way of prenascence condition (purejātapaccaya). The grounds and the constraints are a condition for the spreading by way of postnascence condition (pacchājātapaccaya). Fifteen dhammas are a condition by way of conascence condition (sahajātapaccaya).
