[115] "Where was the pācittiya for drinking surā and meraya laid down?" "It was laid down at Kosambī." "With reference to whom?" "With reference to the Venerable Sāgata." "Concerning what matter?" "Concerning the matter that the Venerable Sāgata drank an intoxicant." There is one laying-down (paññatti). Of the six origins of offences, it arises through two origins: it may arise from the body, not from speech, not from the mind (citta); it may arise from the body and the mind together, not from speech … (peyyāla in the Pali).
