[1237] The thirty nissaggiya pācittiya offenses (nissaggiyā pācittiyā) — through how many originations (samuṭṭhāna) do they originate? The thirty nissaggiya pācittiya offenses originate through six originations: sometimes they originate from body, not from speech, not from mind; sometimes they originate from speech, not from body, not from mind; sometimes they originate from body and speech, not from mind; sometimes they originate from body and mind, not from speech; sometimes they originate from speech and mind, not from body; sometimes they originate from body, speech, and mind.
