[224] For one who, out of disrespect, teaches the Dhamma to a person with a staff in hand, there is an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa)… There is one rule laid down (paññatti) and one supplementary rule (anuppaññatti). Of the six origins of offenses, this one arises through a single origin: it arises from speech and from mind (citta), not from body.
