[279] A bhikkhu engaging in monetary exchange (rūpiyasaṃvohāra) of various kinds commits two offences: in the act of engaging, an offence of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa); when he has engaged, an offence entailing forfeiture and expiation (nissaggiya pācittiya).
